Oslob is a small town located in the southernmost part of Cebu, approximately 4 hours from the city. It has become a popular tourist destination due to the whale sharks or locally known as “butanding” that are freely swimming in the sea water. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling or swimming with the gentle giants with the assistance of the town’s local boat men.
After the fun whale shark activity, you can also enjoy cooling down for a few minutes at Tumalog falls, which is just closely located to where the whale shark watching operation is. It is a single tier water fall and is approximately a hundred meters high. The place is refreshing as it is surrounded by lush green trees, some small rock formations and of course, the cold and fresh water from the falls. Though it is not as deep and as grand as the other waterfalls, clearly, Tumalog falls is one of the perfect sites for swimming and relaxing after the whale shark watching activity.
**NOTE: TUMALOG FALLS WILL BE CLOSED EVERY 2ND WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH FOR MONTHLY MAINTENANCE / CLEAN UP.
